The Angmering Chorale
The Angmering Chorale in Arundel Cathedral, June 2008 The Angmering Chorale has been singing for over 30 years. From a small inaugural group in 1976, The Chorale has grown to over 130 singers.

Under Musical Director George Jones, the repertoire of The Chorale ranges from Bach to The Beatles. Future concerts are detailed on our Programme page, a list of the major works we have performed is shown here.
The choir has travelled in the last few years. We were invited to perform The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, in Carnegie Hall, New York, in January 2007. Then, by invitation, we took part in the re-opening weekend of the Royal Festival Hall, London, in June. We were then invited to perform again in the Royal Festival Hall, this time in the presence of HM The Queen. We returned to Royal Festival Hall in October 2008 and are immensely proud to have been invited back to New York in January 2009. Leicester Philharmonic Choir invited us to join them for their 125th anniversary concert in 2010. In April 2011 members of the choir sang in The Netherlands and in June we were invited to record Karl Jenkins' latest work in Abbey Road Sudios. In February 2012 we were invited to participate in the Brandenburg Spring Festival, London, singing in St Clement Dane, details on our News page.

We are proud to have as our Patron the celebrated composer Karl Jenkins CBE.

Our accompanist is Alison Manton, a very experienced musician.
